a.k.a  "A.D."

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Adalid Feliu Jr. has been writing hip-hop music since the age of 14. However, it wasn’t until he made the decision to live for Jesus Christ, was he able to identify with what he needed to be writing about. Adalid was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 10, 1984. He knew there was a God but he never actually knew God. There's a difference. Adalid got born-again at the age of 20, three months before Hurricane Katrina hit. Him and his wife were forced to move away from their family, friends, and city, but God had a purpose. He started writing at the age of 14, but he was writing about guns, money, cars and ice. (Things which are temporary and will eventually vanish.) After being born-again, he began to write about God and His Word. (Things which are eternal.) After Katrina , Adalid was forced to moved to New Albany, Indiana and started getting settled there. Him and his wife thought about going back to New Orleans, but God spoke to them. He told them not to...that He did not place them where they were by accident. (Praise be to God). After living in Indiana for a year Adalid moved to Louisville, Kentucky to be closer to the church that he is currently apart of now, On Fire Christian Center. Now he knows what his purpose in life is, and that he has been called. Now going on 4 years of music ministry, Adalid has grown and expanded his vision and he owes it all to Jesus Christ his Savior. Adalid is just a normal person with a gift. We all have gifts but it's how we use them that really makes us who we are. Make sure you don't let your gift or (talent) go unused. God Bless
