Jeremiah the Prophet is a talented producer and an accomplished emcee who combines literary artwork with club-banging beats. The quick wit of Jeremiah the Prophet has won him countless battles throughout Southern California and provided for some very enlightening music. This one-man-band, produces, writes, mixes, and masters each of his songs from right in the living room of his small home in the projects. As CEO of ILLHumanNation Records Jeremiah is currently helping develop some promising upcoming acts.
In 2006 Jeremiah re-committed his life to Jesus Christ and turned from secular hip-hop to gospel rap. During this time Prophet gave up smoking marijuana and many other habits which had fit his debauched hip-hop lifestyle. He managed, however, to retain his metaphorical style of word-play and hood beats that he has been known for throughout the rap community for years.
His latest work, "Urban Hymns," has been a milestone of his rap career, making waves in Southern California, Houston, and Connecticut for the past few months. Anointed by God, this album has begun to change lives and provide for much listening enjoyment. Jesus Christ has blessed this man with a talent and now that it is being used for His purposes it is receiving a tremendous response at an alarming rate.
