Biography

Originally from Connecticut, but relocated to North Carolina, James Crawford, now known as "Ahnu" started rhyming on the secular stage. But after realizing his life was destined for destruction, he submitted to the calling of God on his life and started rhyming for Christ! Teamed up with accomplished musician and producer Andre Bright; and lyricist and vocalist Crystal Clear, the trio helped form Liberty Music Group, along with crazybeat maker Dallas Leake. Ahnu seeks to inspire others to better living by sharing his story through the "Nu Devo" sound sensation that combines hip hop, R&B, funk and rock musical sounds with a message of divine inspiration.
