Tried, tested, and true. Minister Rainbow Israel, son of the late Bishop Beth Amber Israel, is a believer with a past as colorful as his name suggests. A former convict and addict, Min. Israel conquered his battles with the streets, drugs, and alcohol, through the unyielding help of the Lord. His powerful testimony showcases the power of God's Love to overcome anything that man can get himself into. Having been born with gifts in music, Min. Israel was given a vision to start his own record label, Life Or Death Records. Its mission, to draw to attention the most crucial decision one will ever make in this world which is to choose life or to choose death. His current musical influences are: Kirk Franklin, Jay Moss, Tonex, Tye Tribbett, Brent Jones, and the T.P. Mobb. However back in the day, Min. Israel opened up for acts such as Run-DMC, LL Cool J, The Fat Boys, Houdini, Leaders Of The New School, and U.T.F.O. Nowadays, he hopes to establish the vision of his house by helping to build up the Lord's House as well. He and his wife Desiree attend Faith United Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland where he serves as an Associate Minister under the guidance of Senior Pastor, Franklin Peterson, Jr. Min. Rainbow Israel's name was changed legally to represent the change in his own life. Rainbow was taken from the covenant that God made with Noah about never destroying the earth by flood again. God put a rainbow in the sky to remind Noah of the promise. Israel is taken from Jacob when God told him he would no longer call him Jacob but Israel because he wrestled with God and prevailed
