The Holy Hot Boyz began in 1999 because of pure boredom at church at our young age and we wanted to spice it up a little bit. Through a Christian sports camp by the name of “Kids Across America,” we observed and accepted a new form of Praise and Worship, which we dubbed the name “Crunk N Worship.”  So with that in mind we formed this group in order to get the youth more involved in our church services. In Shreveport/Bossier City, LA it was very hard for the older generation to accept what we or other pioneers in this city were doing, but being persistent paid off as the love for this style of music has really grown. With God's insurmountable grace we've been blessed to be on the same stage as secular and gospel artists including: platinum recording artist Master P, Choppa from hit TV show “Making The Band,” well known recording artist Big Moe; Holy Hip Hop artists such as Gospel Gangstaz, RedCloud, Canton Jones, Mr. Del, Big Al, and the list goes on. The crowd knew not what they were in for one day at the area known “Super Safe Sunday,” but they got a huge surprise when they heard a word from God but in their style of music! God is using us in all aspects as we continue to push the movement of “Crunk N Worship” to the masses with our album set to release March 6, 2009.  We hope God will continue to use us to push forth this movement that will reach the people that are not into the traditional church and also not in church at all. We're only here to get Crunk and serve Jesus all at the same time!
